The Legends is located within the The Colony, Texas, a northern suburb of Dallas, along the eastern shores of Lake Lewisville.  We are in a great location off the 121/Sam Rayburn Tollway, just minutes away from several major thoroughfares into Dallas, including the Dallas North Tollway and I-35E.  Initial home construction began in 1999,  We offer many amenities. Before purchasing a home in our neighborhood, feel free to review them and e-mail the management company with any questions or clarifications you may need. Legends Texas Homeowners Association, Inc., which has a Board made up of seven volunteer homeowners, was created to conduct the affairs of the community as a corporation, overseeing the maintenance of all of the common areas.  The HOA is also responsible for the enforcement of compliance with the corporation's Covenants, Rules and By-Laws.  The Legends also provides large social events throughout the year to foster a spirit of community for our residents.  These events include a Summer Kick-off Event in June at Hawaiian Falls where the HOA rents the park out for four hours one evening just for our residents and Legends Night Out, generally held in August, with vendors, bounce houses, and free food and drinks and more for our residents.

The Legends are comprised of four subdivisions. Please see the maps below that show the four subdivisions, all of which operate under Legends Texas Homeowners Association, Inc.  All of our subdivisions are part of the Lewisville Independent School District, which is rated as a Recognized district by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

For elementary school, students in all subdivisions except Legend Trails attend Morningside Elementary, which is primarily attended by Legends students. Legend Trails students attend Camey Elementary.  Both schools are rated as Recognized by the TEA.

For middle school, students in all subdivisions except Legend Trails attend Griffin Middle School.  Legend Trails students attend Lakeview Middle School.  Both schools are rated as Acceptable by the TEA.

For high school, all subdivisions attend The Colony High School (the first time all the students in our neighborhood attend the same public school). The school is ranked as Acceptable by the TEA.
